Passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at North York General Hospital at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Maria Theresa for 62 years. Loving father of Anita (Vince), Larry, and Anthony (Jennifer). Devoted grandfather of Rosanna, Michael, Mandi, Courtney, Justin, Justin, Darrin, Sean, Sutton, Tyler, and Evan. Survived by his sister Maria DeSantis of St. Catherines. Joe will be sadly missed by all those that he touched over the years. Friends may call on Monday, June 25, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:30am at St. Edward the Confessor R. C. Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or North York General Hospital - Cardiac Unit.
