Louise passed away peacefully on July 13, 2018 at Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto, Ontario. Born on April 29, 1924 in Toronto, Ontario to Marion and Bert Hounsom, Louise married Dick Ellis on September 17, 1948. Dick predeceased Louise in 1999 after 50 years of marriage. Louise is lovingly remembered by her adoring children: Lynn (Don) and Janet. Louise is also fondly remembered by her granddaughters: Carolyn (Will) and Vicky (Ryan) and her great-granddaughters Avery and Riley. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home on Monday September 10th from 7-9 p.m. Friends are invited Tuesday September 11th at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel; a Memorial Service will follow at 2:30 p.m. A Private Family Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto or the Canadian Cancer Society.
