Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at North York General Hospital at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Giovanni. Loving mother of Candida (Guido), Marianna (the late Nicola), Mario (Vibeke) and Raffaele (Rose Marie). Cherished Nonna of Domenic (Lorraine), Angelo, Lucy, Linda (Martin), Johnny (Marcelle), Michael (Tiffany), Kristofer, Steven, Tanya and Gran-Nonna to 9. Lucia will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends and will be reunited with her twin sister Pasquina and other siblings Anna, Luigi and Giuseppina. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 29th from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday September 30th from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Interment Monday, October 1st at Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society would be apprecieated.
