Madhav Heble

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Madhav P. Heble on Friday, October 5, 2012 at

the age of 87. He died peacefully at North York General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 60 years to Sushila, his kind and caring lifetime companion, and loving father to Ajay and Sucheta. Proud grandfather of Maya, Kiran, and Divya. Father-in-law to Sheila and Aziz. Born in India and an

active leader in the Independence Movement, Dr. Heble came to Canada as a brilliant mathematician, and retired as Professor Emeritus from the University of Toronto. He will be remembered as an accomplished musician, as someone who remained committed to his ideals and values, and, during his younger days in India, as a theatre actor and director. Thanks to Dr. Chan and the staff at North York General Hospital for

their care. Private cremation and service. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date. The family
