Maha Dorkhom Bondi

It is with great sadness, but hope in the Resurrection, that we announce the falling asleep in the Lord of Maha Raja Dorkhom Bondi on September 2, 2026.

Born on July 29, 1966, in Beirut, Lebanon, to Raja and Mona Dorkhom, Maha immigrated to Canada in 1980 with her family. She was married to Philip Bondi on June 26, 1994, and was a devoted mother to Joseph, Peter, and Anna Maria. She was the loving sister of Suha (Robert Watson) and loving aunt to Catherine (Jesse Irwin and their son James), Nicholas, and Kristin.

Her calling in life was to change lives one student at a time, which she applied as a teacher in public school, homeschooling her three children, and raising up many adoring students at Oxford Learning Mississauga East, St. George's Sunday School, and St. Mary’s Sunday School.

Maha will be remembered for her gentleness, kindness, selflessness, warm conversation and her giving heart.

The family extends their gratitude to the many friends and family who supported Maha, and all of us, through her care journey. Her many visitors brought her great joy. Maha accepted God’s plan for her life with faith and humility, and we are glad that many of you were able to witness this with us.
