Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Toronto Western Hospital at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Carman. Loving mother of Sharon (Ronald Murchie), Margaret, Thomas (Yvonne) and Douglas (Elizabeth). She will be greatly missed by her 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother Fred Parkes. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12th from 7-9 p.m. and Monday, February 13th from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Interment at Highland Memory Gardens. Donations may be made to the Canadian Paraplegic Association.
