(nee Scott) Passed away peacefully at home after a long and courageous battle with bronchiectasis, on February 17, 2009. Loving wife of Veni (57 years) and loving mother of Daniel and Michael, and special friend Helene Edwards. Predeceased by her parents Victor and Margaret, her brother Victor and her sisters Anne and Terry. The family would like to express there sincere appreciation to her nurses Dale Stedman and Svetlana, her doctors Dr. Kendal and Dr. Betty Gerstin and her caregivers Semoun Wynter and Idil Osobleh. Friends may call on Friday, February 20, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
