Mary Wilkinson

(nee O'Neil)-Peacefully, on Thursday, December 2, 2004 at North York Seniors Health Centre, in her 89th year. Mary, beloved wife of the late Malcolm Wilkinson. Predeceased by her sister Kathleen Thom. Mary will be missed dearly and fondly remembered by her niece Jane Davis and her children Leigh, Brent and Tom, and by nephews David Thom and David, Paul and Mark Howarth. Mary was born in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario in The Prince of Wales Hotel. After the death of her father when mary was eight, she and her sister, Kathleen, were raised by their mother Edith O'Neil. Mary was a graduate of the Mack School of Nursing, class of 1939. She was a volunteer at the North York General Hospital for many years. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church (650 Sheppard Avenue East), on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 10 o'clock. Cremation. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date at St. Vincent de Paul Churchyard, Niagara-on-the-Lake. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the North York General Hospital.
