Peacefully, on Tuesday December 27th, 2005 at Gibson House - LTC, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Yvette Norton (1993). Loving father of Jacqueline Kalyn, Theresa (Louis) Verdoni, Michael (Liisa), Jean (Jack) MacDonald, and John (Donna). Cherished grandfather of eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother John Norton and predeceased by his sister Mary Leroux. Friends may call on Thursday December 29th, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church, (75 Churchill Avenue, North York)at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at York Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
