MARTIN, Nieva Sabilano - Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2003, at her home, at age 43. She will be fondly remembered by her husband Michael, her brothers and sisters: Lino and his wife Ester, and their chirldren Lester and Cristina, Tony and his children Regina and Rex, Emma and her husband Arnold, Den and his wife Baby and their chirdren Jungjung, Rachelle and Joanna, Ching and her husband Ed and their daughter Monik, Ben and his wife Roslyn and their children Aaron and Angelica, parents-in-law Lloyd and Monica, brothers and sisters-in-law: Victor and his daughter Victoria, Marva and her husbnad John and their children Joanna and John, Yvonne, and Coleen and her husband Norman and their children. A devoted R.N. who provided exemplary care to her patients for over 20 years, at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. She was kind, competent, generous and loving. Through her positive attitude and her unwavering faith and trust, others learned how to care. She brought happiness and hope, inspiring the best in everyone she met. Family and friends may call at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Barnabas Church (10 Washburn Way) on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Road). In lieu of flowrers, donations may be made to The Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care.
