Oi Kwan Poon Mok 莫潘愛群女士

Oi Kwan Mok October 26, 1931 – January 1, 2017. Oi Kwan left us peacefully last week after providing life and directions to everyone whose life she touched. She joins her husband George who died in Dec 3, 1997. Oi Kwan was born in China before emigrating to Hong Kong in the early 1950's.

Oi Kwan was strong-willed and helped in the family's business as well as running her own record store after her marriage. The Mok family emigrated to Canada in 1968 and she settled down as a housewife in 1973. In the 80's, she travelled extensively with her husband all over the world. In the 90's, she was diagnosed with defective heart valves and had artificial replacements implanted. In 2005, she had heart surgery again and recovered to enjoy more travelling.

Oi Kwan liked family gatherings and dining out. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Oi kwan is a fighter and survived many physical ailments over time. After her husband's passing in 1997, she lived alone and maintained her independence until the middle of 2016 when she moved into a Retirement Home.

Oi Kwan's children: Lai Ki (Mary) and Robert (Grace), grandchildren: Sue-Ann (Olivier), Calvin (Jing), Sharon (Joel) and Rebecca, great-grandchildren: William, Claire, and Jaden.

A celebration of Oi Kwan's life will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral home, 6150 Yonge Street, Toronto on Monday Jan 9 at 9:00am. A visitation will precede this event on Sunday Jan 8 at 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

莫潘愛群女士 1931年10月26日至2017年1月1日。莫潘愛群在上週安靜地離開了我們。她感動了每一個她接觸過的人，給予我們生活的方向。她現在和她的已故丈夫莫華鏗(卒於1997年12月3日)重聚。莫潘愛群在中國出生並在50年代初到香港居住。

莫潘愛群有強烈的意志，在她結婚後經營自己的唱片店同時幫助家庭的業務。她跟隨莫氏家族於1968年移民到加拿大，並於1973年定居成為家庭主婦。在80年代，她與丈夫環遊世界。在90年代，她被診斷為有心臟瓣膜缺陷，需耍植入人工心瓣。在2005年，她又再次進行了心臟手術，並再度恢復了更多的旅行。

莫潘愛群喜歡家庭聚會和外出就餐。她喜歡花時間與她的孫子和曾孫們相聚。莫潘愛群是一個鬥士，勇於克服不斷的身體疾病。在她的丈夫於1997年過身後，她獨自生活，並保持她的獨立性，直到2016年中進入了療養院為止。

莫潘愛群的兒子：禮基（美玲）和禮業（如瑾），孫子：小雅（Olivier），家輝（晶），小韻（Joel）及 小鳳，曾孫：William，心怡 及 子軒。

莫潘愛群喪禮將在R.S. Kane殯儀館舉行，位於6150 Yonge街多倫多市, 時間是1月9日星期一上午9:00舉行。瞻仰遺容在1月8日星期日下午5:00至9:00進行。
