OBITUARY

Olga Kozlowski

20 August, 193112 October, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Olga Kozlowski on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Cummer Lodge in North York, Ontario. She leaves behind her husband of 69 years, Wally Kozlowski and three children, Steve Kozlowski (Diana), Linda Vella (Paul) and Rick Kozlowski (Lynda Vysoki).

Olga was grandmother ("Baci”) to Victoria ("Tori") Kozlowski, Samantha (“Sam”) Glad and Mark Reynen and great grandmother to Oli, Finn and Esmé Reynen and Michael Glad.

Olga was immensely proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the paths they followed. Her baking of delicious delights and her unconditional maternal love are already missed by many.

Her contagious laugh will be fondly remembered, as well as, her enduring patience as she listened and laughed at Wally’s repertoire of jokes… again and again…

She will remain in the hearts of those who called her mother, grandmother, aunt or dear friend.

A celebration of Olga’s life will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 2:00-4:00pm at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L4J 1W3.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 9:30am at Good Shepherd Church, 21 Simonston Blvd, Thornhill, ON L3T 4R6.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

So many memories of great times in the Kozlowski home, lots of great cooking and fun moments! "Auntie" Olga was always such a great hostess! She even babysat for our young infant when we visited so we could go out! She will be remembered fondly!

My dad also sends his sympathies.

Lots of love to the family and "Uncle" Wally

There are so many beautiful memories for me in my lifetime friendship with Olga. I met Olga on my first day working at my first job, 1948. Olga , also new at that place came forward and it was the beginning of a lifetime friendship. We shared every important event in our early lives meeting our beloved husbands to be, sharing the wonderful days of courting our soon to be husbands, getting married, having our beautiful children until Peter and I decided to move where Peter's parents were living in New York. That was the first time my heart was broken, when I had to say goodbye to my friend and her family but it was not the end, we shared our lives in letters and visits and our friendship grew.
Now we are at the end of that beautiful time, Peter left us eleven months ago.
And now, Olga, we have come to the end of the the most beautiful thing one could ask for, a lifetime friendship.
Until we meet again, up there, Olga, I love you.
Bernice
