It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden, tragic passing of Omotayo on Saturday, 8 February, 2014. When he was taken from us, Omotayo was studying medicine at Spartan University, St. Lucia, where he was much loved for his academic and mentoring contributions. He was a keen basketball player and he represented his alma mater York University in Track and Field. Omotayo radiated love, joy and kindness to everyone. His infectious smile and laughter will live through us all.
Beloved son of Barrington and Modupe. Loving brother of Bandale, Anike and Jeffery. Grandson of Ezekiel and the late Mojoyinola Olaogun, George Morrison and Julia Matthews. Dear nephew of the Oyewole, Olayiwola, Fasanya, Cruz and Morrison families and the late Omolara Olaogun. Affectionately missed by extended family, many friends and special friend, Lakeisha Miller.
Visitation will take place at Jerrett Vaughan Chapel, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, Ontario (south of Highway 7 at Thornhill Avenue) on Friday, February 21 from 6 - 9 pm and on Saturday February 22 from 11 - 11.45 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 12 noon.
