Evi passed peacefully with family by her side after a long illness. She is survived by her loving parents, Tony and Helen Kouvelas, her dear sister Angie (Michael), her cherished nieces Elizabeth, Catherine, and Anastasia. She will be remembered with affection by her aunts Georgina, Vera and Diane, and her cousins Tina, Michael, Christina, Max, Alexis, Aliki, Brigid and Stephanie. Evi is pre-deceased by her Aunt Maria and Theo Laki, both treasured. She will be remembered with love by her many family members in Greece and England.
Our beloved Evi will be remembered as a fiercely independent and creative spirit. Her compassion and warmth will be missed by those close to her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes - Thornhill from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church. Interment will follow at York Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend a reception following the burial at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes - Thornhill.
