It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Lois Mills (nee Ormerod) on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, in her 101st year. Dearly loved wife of the late Derek (Dick) Mills (2003). Proud mother of Wayne, Jim, Ken and Janet. Loving mother-in-law of Sheila (Torch), Julie and Roger. Loving grandma to Michael, Gregory (Jessica), Taryn (Brandon), Bradley (Rachel) and Kelly (Chad). Loving Great Grandma to Ronald, Jax, Royce, Emily and Benjamin. Patricia is remembered as a person who loved family. She married Derek shortly after war in 1946, and they lived in Richmond Hill, raising four children. Together, they enjoyed a very active social life, with curling and bridge being among their favourites. Upon retirement, they moved to Grand Bend, enjoying their newfound leisure time. Upon the death of her husband, she moved to Hamilton and loved to spend time with her family on holidays and special occasions, continuing to play bridge whenever she had the opportunity. Patricia will be greatly missed by all, but her memory will be with us forever.
