She will be deeply missed by her son, James Parakh; daughter-in-law, Sheri-Ann White-Parakh; and granddaughter, Macy Parakh. She was predeceased by her brother Yazdi.
A proud Maple Leaf’s, Blue Jays and Raptors fan, Rahabar lived in Toronto for almost 50 years. She dedicated much of her life to enriching the lives of children, volunteering at Silver Creek Public School and working as a lunchroom supervisor. In her leisure time, she enjoyed going on adventures across the city. Rahabar was also a talented seamstress and devoted pet-lover. The family dogs, Frostie and Bunny, always put a smile on her face.
A Zoroastrian prayer service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 10 at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, Ontario.
