It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ramuelo Gonzalez - otherwise known to close friends as Ram and Raffy and fondly within family as Boboy. He departed peacefully on October 4th, 2025 at the age of 67 after a brief but valiant battle with lung cancer. Boboy was a beloved son, cherished Kuya and devoted Uncle, whose loss will be felt deeply for those of us that survive him.
Born on February 13, 1958 in San Pedro, Laguna, Philippines. Boboy lived a life full of compassion and appreciation for this family. Boboy was kind, had a great sense of humor and loved dogs. He was known for his passion for a good card game and would not pass up an opportunity to buy weekly lottery tickets. Throughout Boboy's life, his love of sports - basketball specifically - was a catalyst to many memories he shared with his siblings, nieces and nephews and friends alike.
Boboy is survived by his Father, Rogelio Gonzalez, his 5 siblings and their loving spouses, Rey, Rose, Rocil, Lito and Ruby. He leaves behind 15 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews. Boboy was preceded in death by his loving Mother, Concepcion and his older brother, Rogelio Jr. who welcome him in felicity in heaven.
