Peacefully at home, with family by his side, on Sunday, August 10, 2003 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of 50 years to Sylvia. Father and friend to Rick and wife Loretta, Joe and wife Elaine, Randy and wife Janis, Cathy and husband Mark. Cherished Nonno to Andrew and Matthew; Emma; Anthony, Bryan and Kevin; and Candice. Special brother to Mario and wife Flavia, brother-in-law to Barbara Tanner and Gary (predeceased); son-in-law to Ines Mina. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family members and close friends. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday from 2-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2003 at 10 am from St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church (1300 Leslie St.). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
