Roman Fracassi passed peacefully on December 10, 2022, at his home. The Fracassi family lost Roman Stefan, who was taken from us too soon. He is survived by his parents, John and Charlotte, his sisters, Bethany, Allegra, Adrian and Julia, his grandmother, Marianna, and his beloved cat, Luna.
Roman will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, friend and co-worker. He built a proud career for himself at a TD Bank branch in Thornhill where he was admired and appreciated by many of his clients and his co-workers.
Before he began his career at TD, he was a member of the Kiva Gardens landscaping team, where he flourished as an expert in plants and was well loved by his co-workers, Terry, PEI, Bohdan and their loving leader, Evelyn Nepon, the gang’s den mother.
Roman truly made an impact on people’s lives around him and brought light to their day. He had many talents — he loved the outdoors, the cottage, rummaging through the countryside hunting for native plants to bring home and propagate. His most favourite places to be were in tending to the BBQ cooking up a storm, his cottage and the family farm, where he enjoyed his role as an “outdoorsman.” He was an avid gamer, loved to cook and learn new recipes from other cultures. You could always find him driving around listening to his favourite songs blasting, the neon lights in his car flashing with the beat. He was usually accompanied by his beloved cat, the one and only Luna, whom he treated more like a dog when they were out together at his favourite locales.
The family would like to express deep thanks to all of Roman’s family, friends, co-workers and friends from long ago— many dating back to his Kindergarten and early school years — for their compassion, care and kind words throughout this difficult time.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family through the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home website at www.kanejerrett-thornhill.ca.
