Ron passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 11th, 2026. He was the devoted husband of Jody and loving father of Sarah. Ron will be deeply missed by his dear siblings and in-laws, Rita (Brian), Audrey (Keith), Susan (Paul), Billy (San), Philip Dover, Robert and the late Pam, Rose and the late Charlie; mother in law Edie Dover, as well as his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ron was a lifelong fan of English football and a true Evertonian, proudly supporting his beloved Everton and carrying his passion for the club throughout his life.
Visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes – Thornhill (8088 Yonge St, Thornhill) on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes – Thornhill (8088 Yonge St, Thornhill) on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Ron’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
