After a courageous struggle, Shirley passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 18, 2004, in her 73rd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Douglas. Loving mother to Gerlad and his wife Jan, Brien and his wife Laurie, Jennifer and her husband Jan and predeceased by her son Craig. Cherished grandmother to April and Amanda; Ellen and Davis; Kelsey and Katrina. Sadly missed by her sisters Patricia and Doreen as well as her nieces, nephews and close friends. The family would like to thank the friends and care givers who gave their time to support and comfort our mother. Condolences may be expressed at the family home on Sunday, February 22, 2004 from 2- 4 pm.
