Stefan Djordjevic

Stefan was a passionate, inquisitive and genuine person. He had a zest for life unlike any other, and his interests extended to every topic imaginable. He was constantly reading, thinking or observing, absorbing as much information as possible. He was unlike anybody else, and was truly an inspiration for everyone around him.

The accomplishments Stefan had achieved by the age of 27 are astounding. Stefan played water polo since his childhood, and was a star shooter, team captain and coach. Stefan was a member of the University of Toronto water polo team in 2013, helping U of T to an OUA silver medal. As a member of Canada's national water polo team, he assisted his team in winning a silver medal at the 2011 Pan Am Games in Mexico.

Stefan had completed his second year of the combined JD/MBA program, and was a member of the Class of 2017. This summer, Stefan was an MBA intern at the firm of Duff and Phelps. He also provided private tutoring for students studying for the LSAT and was a peer mentor for first-year law students. Stefan volunteered at Downtown Legal Services and was a student ambassador for the Ontario Bar Association and JD/MBA association. Prior to staring law school, Stefan completed a degree in Psychology and simultaneously ran his own landscaping company. The ambition and drive he always had led him to great successes, and would have continued to allow him to grow and achieve remarkable things in the future.

It is a tragedy that Stefan will not have the opportunity to fulfill his dreams, as he had so many of them. The world has lost a wonderful man who left an enormous impact on everyone he encountered. Stefan was always searching for answers and considering the world around him and what is beyond that which we can see. We are sure he will answer all of his questions and continue to learn, inquire and explore the world and beyond.

We wish him peace now that he is in heaven.

We love you Stefan, so much. You will not be forgotten, and you will always be missed.
