Shaune and I have been deeply saddened by the loss of Susan. 

As a younger cousin, I fondly remember family Christmas dinners at her grandmother’s and mother's houses. Ski doo parties and other family events entailed the inevitable question whether Scott and Susan would be there. They were the older, fun cousins I always looked forward to seeing. When I was at RMC, she and Warren were generous and welcoming by hosting me and my friends at their home on the river.

I choose to remember the times before her challenges emerged, her vivacious personality, as well as her  generous and supportive spirit.

This news is just so sad. I first met Susan when I became a member of this wonderful extended family by marriage. I met a beautiful and vivacious teenager with all the expectations and potential for a long, happy and productive life. Mental health issues later changed the trajectory of those expectations in spite of a loving husband's and family's desperate attempts to switch it back. So sad.

I hope she has found a piece, the comfort, and the rest that she most certainly deserved. Warren
