Suddenly on September 12, 2012 at North York General Hospital. Loving husband of Eileen (nee O'Neill). Cherished father of Stephen, David and Helen. Proud grandfather to Patrick, Olivia, Amelia and Lucy. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and colleagues at the Don Valley Golf Club and Tam O'Shanter Golf Club. Tom was the Vice President of Commercial Liability with Zurich Canada for many years. He was a fellow of the Insurance Institute of Canada and a well respected Instructor at Seneca College in Toronto. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the CCU at NYGH for their dedication and care. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, September 17th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Passionist Parish (670 Sheppard Avenue East). Funeral services and interment will take place in his native land of Scotland at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
