Peacefully passed away on March 29, 2011 at North York General Hospital at the age of 94. Beloved husband to Serafina for 69 years. Loving father to Aldo, Assunta, Franco, Louie (predeceased), Benny, Felicia (predeceased), Philip, Bill, Anna and their spouses. Cherished grandfather to his 16 grandchildren, will be sadly missed by his 18 great-grandchildren, brothers and their families. Family and friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street) on Friday, April 1 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 2 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Church (92 Steeles Avenue West). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
