Warren Colin Leonard

Warren Colin Leonard passed away peacefully in the company of his wife of 62 years and family at North York General Hospital in his 87th year. Warren was the beloved husband of Jean (Younger) and cherished father of 11 children: Lawrence (Lindsay), Paul, Norman (Bonnie), Gregory (Mary), Elizabeth, Edward (Pam), Jeffrey (Betty), Robert (Lisa), Mary Jean (Paul), Christopher (Suzi) and Michael (Faith). He leaves 20 grandchildren. Warren led a very full and active life beginning early on with his involvement in the De La Salle Drum and Bugle Corps, serving as a Navigator in WWII, managing a successful business, Furs By Leonard, active in the Retail Furriers Guild of Canada, Rotary Club, community service, Parish Church activities, choirs and various charities. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 25th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass will be held on Monday October 26th at 10 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue, north of Finch). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
