I am so very sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I was a client of his for many years. I always looked forward to our meetings and he helped me through some very tough times with death and illness in my family. He was so kind but also able to help with the tricky paperwork and phone calls involved in my losses. He was a treasure and will be missed by all who knew him.

I was sad to read of Bill's death this evening in the St. Michael's College (U of T) Alumni Magazine.  Bill and I spent some time together while we were at SMC in the mid 1980's.  His open and welcoming nature pulled me out of my shy one and I became more active at SMC with the student newspaper and at Hart House on the Music Committee in large part due to his encouragement.  We both went to law schools and eventually lost track of eachother.  But I won't forget Bill.

I have lovely memories of Bill from High Park Ski Club many years ago.  Such a charming and fun person to spend time with skiing, apre skiing and socials.  I was very saddened to hear this news and offer my sincere condolences.

I was terribly, terribly sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I met Bill when I was an undergraduate at St. Michael's College. It has been many years since I last saw Bill, but I have fond memories of him and remember Bill as being a really lovely man. Elizabeth, my heart goes out to you and my deepest condolences to you and everyone in Bill's family.

I had the pleasure of ski teaching with Bill at Earl Bales Ski and Snowboard centre and as a fellow RSGC student I was always impressed by his positive attitude with ski students. Bill will be missed. 

You meet a lot of people at the High Park Ski club, but no one was like Bill, and even though I haven't seen him in many years, there is something completely unforgettable about him.  He was a gentleman in a world where courtesy and civility is increasingly uncommon.  Never have I met anyone with such grace and gentility.  Bill made you feel special, important.  He showed interest in you.  He asked questions and he listened.  And when he met you and shook your hand, he looked you in the eye and gave you his big, genuine smile.  He had a tremendous gift of making those of us lucky enough to meet him, to feel good about ourselves.  Thanks Bill.

Bill met his illness just as he always greeted life -- with extraordinary energy, and cheerfulness above all. He has left us a great example, and countless happy memories for his wonderful family and many friends. I will continue to remember all the Henrys in my prayers in the days, weeks, and months to come.

We met Bill through his work with TD.  He was our financial advisor for many years and we always enjoyed our visits with him.  He was a very kind, gentle and thoughtful person, always greeting us with that huge smile of his and his upbeat and positive attitude.  We will miss Bill and his wise counsel very much.  Our deepest condolences to Bill's family, partner and close friends.  He will be sorely missed.

Bill was a kind and thoughtful man. He would greet me with, "how's it going Ken!", every time I met him on the ski hill, or on Toronto's boardwalk. He put others first especially those that loved what he loved. Never ending encouragement to keep improving my skiing and leadership skills, are valued things I take from Bill. Thanks for that Bill, and thanks for the great memories. Cathy and I will miss you greatly, cheers! 

I will miss Bill greatly.  He was always fun to ski and teach with.  His enthusiasm for the sport, positive approach and expertise helped so many people.  

When Bill was a freshly minted ski instructor in his first years at HPSC he would be the first to volunteer and give his time in assisting all the new and beginner skiers. He would always go above and beyond of what was expected. He was so generous with his time and his soul. His enthusiasm and spirit would always inspire me to try and give more of myself. Bill a life well lived with meaning and influence on others is the best we can ever accomplish. You are a champ. We will miss you.

Bill and I shared many fun times skiing and summer activities for many years. He was a cherished friend. I will miss his enthusiasm, caring and positive spirit. He will be dearly missed.

Very sorry and saddened about your loss. It was an honour knowing Bill Henry. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. 

Although I only knew Bill from a High Park Ski Club trip to Ellicottville NY about three ago (he was my seat mate on the bus), his positive disposition, his charitable work with special needs children, and the interesting conversation we had on the bus made a lasting impression with me.  He was a pleasure to be around. My sincere condolences to his family and close friends.

Bill was one of my first ski instructors at HPSC.  His smile and warm personality made all of us in the novice group feel welcomed and at ease.  He was a wonderful ambassador and face to the ski club and genuinely loved teaching people.  I am grateful to have been one of his students.  He will be missed on the slopes and at our social functions where he would make a point to say hello to everyone.  My deepest condolences. 

We only met Bill a few times, but always very much enjoyed his company.  A very kind person that was very easy to talk to and relate.  Our love goes out to the Henry family.

My deepest sympathies to Bill's family.  Bill was such a wonderful person.   Bill was the first one I met entering the doors to the High Park Ski Club gathering on my first day.  He had the most captivating and friendly smile!  And from then on when we met up on ski trips, I always stuck to him!  He was a magnet full of charm, good humour, and fun. One of my best memories is the Lake Tahoe trip where we were lucky enough to have a nice hotel with a apres ski of free buffet and drinks.  He had such a great smile when carrying all those delicious drinks back to the table to share over our laughter and great conversation!   I will most certainly miss him!  Wherever he is, I am sure he is lighting up the place!

He was one of the hardest working advisors we had and he did a great job advising and servicing his clients.  He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to Bill Henry's family and friends, he was a friend and ski instructor with our club, High Park Ski Club, also member of the Toronto Bicycle Club, we shared so many fond memories in numerous trips, he was always my roommate in ski trips to Mt Tremblant, Quebec. Bill will dearly missed by his friends at ski school and bicycle club, rest in peace brother.

I had the distinct honour and privilege of being William's Grade Four Teacher at Royal Saint George's College. He was elected by his class mates to be Class Captain and did an absolutely splendid job of leading his peers. His cheerful attitude was contagious among his peers and he was a very caring, considerate and conscientious young gentleman in the truest sense of the word. I feel deeply grateful  that he reached out to me over the past year and we met for lunch and had very meaningful discussions! There is no doubt that Heaven is a much richer place since his arrival into that great dimension. We can most certainly anticipate the joy of the knowledge that one day we will be reunited with William never to ever be separated again. Our Newmarket Anglican Parish of "Christ The King",  continues to pray  for all members of William's family at this very difficult time!

Bill was one of the first people to welcome me at RSGC in Gr.12, Fall of 1982.  I remember him as always enthusiastic, always kind, and always interested.  The memory that comes to mind first is him encouraging me to try out for hockey even though I couldn't skate, and lending me some of his gear.  I am really sorry to hear of his passing.

I am so sorry to hear this news.  When we last spoke I understood that it was not going to be long.  I am sorry I never met him in person, he sound quite wonderful.

I am in Florida till next Thursday and will not be able to attend visitation or the service....I certainly would have attended otherwise.
