Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Lansing Retirement Home in his 101st year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Emma and his brother Albert. Survived by and will always remain in the hearts of his sisters-in-law Mildred Miller and Agnes Christie, nephew Ken (Sandra) Harding, nieces Nancy Harasimo, Ann (Wayne) Easterbrook, and Merle Miller (Dave Tattrie), and many great nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call on Friday, July 4, 2008 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment York Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
