Passed away on February 21, 2009 at North York General Hospital in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Peggie". Loving father of Bill Cochrane (Margaret), Irene (John Carriere) and Patricia (Dan Niven). Proud Papa of Leslie (David Arsenault), Bill Cochrane, Scott Cochrane (Michele), Ken Carriere (Michelle Pearce), David Carriere (Olivia Grace), James Niven (Kelsey Ryland), David Niven (Julia) and Great Papa of Christopher, Hayleigh, Elizabeth, Charles and Nolan. Fondly remembered by many family and friends around the world. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the St. Andrews Society.
