Beulah "Boots" Marie Starner (Breen), age 97, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Together they had 9 children--Gary (Susan), David (Linda), Donna (Mike), Russ (Liz), Debbie (Elaine), Danny, Patricia (deceased), Teresa (Kenny), and Doug. She also had numerous Nieces and Nephews as well as Grandchildren--Shawn, Kelly, Maggie, Darren, Derek, Shawnda, Amber, Devon, Savannah, Taylor, Justin, and Cassie; as well as four Great Grandchildren--David-Paul, Grace, Mason, and Julian as well as 2.0, due any day.

Beulah will be remembered as being loved by everyone, as well as being remembered by her beloved and much enjoyed Christmas parties and mountain breakfasts.

Grandma Breen was always a figure of strength and dependability like a mountain unmoved by the howling winds of a coming storm.

I remember calling her in college to tell her I was going abroad for a year in college and to ask her advice. Her only question was “what does your dad say?” And before I could tell her he was supportive, she chimes in “because you tell him I said he took off at 18 and he should let you go have an adventure” I loved her for that and so many other reasons. I called her weekly when I was in college and she always had time for me. Love you Grandma

I was fascinated by her wall of brooches and pins as a girl. I collect them also due to her amazing wall. Loved going over on Christmas every year. Especially her divinity candy! Love you Aunt Boots.

Aunt Boots,
I have only good memories of you especially my childhood. Visiting you and Uncle Donnie at Christmas time as well as Grandma & Grandpa Starner. I remember the tinsel on your Christmas tree as it was so shiny. Uncle Gene and Aunt Marie were always laughing. I remember you had a lot of children and although I was shy, I warmed up to Donna, Patricia & Tricie. (Doug was funny) You really made Christmas a very happy time. To all my cousins, I really want to tell you that your Mom had a special place in our hearts.
May she rest in peace. All my love, Susan
