Brett Albert Huffman

Brett Albert Huffman passed away, after 4 months of battling complications of a stroke at the age of 55 years young on Saturday November 19, 2022 at 5:15pm in Wheat Ridge, CO. Brett was born Friday January 13th, 1967 in Denver CO. The son of Phyllis Elizabeth Huffman and Clifford William Huffman. He was survived by his wife of 30 years Tina Marie Huffman; his daughters Rhiannon and AnnaMarie; grandchildren Payton and Hazel; sister Christina (Robert) Brown. He was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Huffman and nephew Randy Lee Brown.

Brett is a Colorado native but a buckeye fan at heart as his family resides in Columbus Ohio, the home of THE Ohio State Buckeyes. When Brett was not watching the Buckeyes, you can catch him on the golf course scoring all the hole in ones and beating all of his friends. In all seriousness, Brett was most content on the golf course competing with his friends, and teaching his daughter AnnaMarie his passion. Aside from sports and friends Brett had a strong connection to music that bonded him to his family and friends but specifically with his wife Tina. Whether it was Jackson Browne, Motley Crue or Paul Mccartney, they enjoyed going to concerts, or just hanging out at home listening to music. Above all Brett was a teller of stories, with an infectious laugh and smile.

The Huffman family will receive guests for the viewing November 26, 2022 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. With the funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery.
