Poem written by Catherine "Betty" Hoffman approximately 1 month prior to death.

"JUST ME"

 There's nothing whatever the matter with me.
I'm just as healthy as can be.
I have arthrits in both my knees and when I talk, I talk with a wheeze.
My pulse is weak and my blood is thin.
But I'm awfully well for the shape I'm in.
I think my liver is out of wack, and a terrible pain is in my back.
My hearing is poor, my sight is dim, most everything seems to be out of trim.
But I'm awfully well for the shape I'm in.
I have arch supports for both my feet, or I wounldn't be able to go on the street.
Sleepness I have night after night, and in the morning I'm just a sight, my memory is failing, my heads in a spin, I'm peacefully living on asprin.
But I'm awfully well for the shape I'm in.
The moral is as this tale we unfold, that for you and me who are growing old,
It's better to say I'm fine with a grin then to let them know the shape were in.

I hope everyone gets out of it what I did.
I love you grandma and miss you.

Don, Anna, Ree, Tim and Sheila,  I think your Mom would be so proud of you all. It was so special of you to share her, her belonging and her stories.  Her grandkids made it so unique by sharing their special things they will miss. It was very touching and beautiful.  Father Greg and Deacon Taylor did an excellent job too and helped put it all in perspective. "Colorful" means so much more!  Love you all.

To Our Dear Friends Tim,Deanna,Kyle and Ty . We are so very sorry for the loss of your Mother and Grandmother .God will give you the strength to get through this loss..She will be missed .All our Love Frank and Linda
