Christine Martinez Turpin passed away July 29, 2018 in Aurora, Colorado. She was born May 15, 1932 to Benseslado and Elena (Espinoza) Martinez in Trinidad, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents Ben and Elena Martinez and her siblings Cora Sanchez, Louis Raymond Blas, Eva Gomez, Ernest and Ben Jr.; sons Albert and Michael Turpin Sr. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Harold Turpin Sr; son Harold Jr; daughter Mary Ann Sexton (Tom), Alberta Casados and Priscilla Turpin. Christine was graced with 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Christine will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 at 10:00 am at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado 80229. A luncheon will follow at the American Legion, 5421 East 71st Avenue, Commerce City, Colorado 80022.
A private interment will be held Tuesday, August 14, 11:30 am at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
