Daniel “Pat” O’Connell, 89, passed away on May 8th, 2025 in Northglenn, Colorado. Pat is survived by his daughters; Patty (Neil) Mortenson, Ann (Kurt) Van Portfliet, Sandy (Dennis) Hruby, brother, Jim (Judy) O’Connell, sister, Joan (Mike) Ebinger, 6 grandchildren; Laura (Justin) Swenson, Katie (David) DeFord, Michael (Janelle) Van Portfliet, Ryan (Alyssa/fiancé) Van Portfliet, Kayla (Jakob) Wilson, and Danny Hruby, 6 great grandchildren; Jeremiah and Ella Swenson, Holly and Palmer Van Portfliet, Harper DeFord, and Malakai Wilson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean “Binky” O’Connell, and parents, Daniel and Helen O’Connell.
Visitation Monday, May 19th from 4 to 6pm with a Rosary service at 5:00pm, both at Olinger Highland Mortuary Chapel in Thornton, Colorado. Mass of Catholic Burial Tuesday, May 20th, 2025 at 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 11385 Grant Dr., Northglenn, Colorado. He will be laid to rest at Olinger Highland Cemetery.
