Desere Danielle Atencio

Desere Atencio Bergman was born April 23, 1984 and passed away June 7, 2015. Desere was a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many. She enjoyed her friends and many activities..music, movies, books, camping, the Broncos and Superman.

Desere grew up in the Thornton, Colorado area and attended Adams 12 5 Star schools. She was a graduate of Everest College and was currently attending Empire Beauty School in Thornton, Colorado.

Desere worked at FedEx, was a server at Gunther Toody's restaurant and Mesa Verde restaurant at DIA. She recently started working at Circle K.

Desere is survived by her husband of 15 years, Chris Bergman; sons, Amadeus and Travis Bergman; parents William and Jane Gregory; brothers, John Gregory, Jason Atencio, Bryan Atencio and Keith Atencio; sisters Melissa Meza DeBruce and Elisha Meza Anderson; numerous extended family members in and around Denver, Colorado and Antonito, Colorado. Desere is preceded in death by her brother, Frank Gregory, in 1994.

We will always hold Desere in our hearts...we miss you.

Visitation will be Monday, June 15, 2015 from 4pm to 7pm. Rosary Service will be at 7pm on Monday, June 15, 2015, both at Olinger Highland Mortuary in Thornton, Colorado. Her Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Northglenn, Colorado.
