Dolores Madeline Medina was born on January 13, 1932 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was the only child of Tom and Madeline Duran. She shared many memories throughout the years of her life on her Grandpa’s farm including the hardships and good times she experienced.
On July 2, 1949 she married Ernest Medina and together they had seven children, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Dolores took care of her children and grandchildren while Ernest worked to provide for the family.
Dolores loved to read and tell stories which always made us laugh because Ernest would often say “that’s not how it went Doe.” She loved to play the piano (by ear) and even wrote her own song which she often played. She made the best fluffy tortillas and made sure to tell the kids to stay in school and listen to their parents.
Dolores lived a good long life and she will be missed by many. She used to always say “Bye Bye” so until we meet again in eternity...Bye Bye Dolores. We will miss you.
She is survived by her husband Ernest; three daughters, four granddaughters, one grandson and five great grandsons.
She was predeceased by her parents, one daughter and three sons.
May perpetual light shine upon her.
