She was the daughter of Martha Frye and Roy Branstetter. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Roy Branstetter, Moses Branstetter, and Carol Locke.
Dovey is survived by her son by choice, Richard Perea, and her siblings Judy A. Hulett, Joyce A. Martin, and Edna M. Peters.
She will be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. The service is scheduled for December 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM.
