Frank was born on August 31, 1938, in Dodge City, Kansas. He grew up with 4 brothers, 1 sister and his parents who have all preceded him to Heaven. They lived on the family farm outside of Fowler Kansas.
He married Carol Joann Staker on August 16, 1958. Frank and Carol lived in Wichita Kansas until 1962. In March of 1962 they packed all their belongings into their VW bug and headed north to Alaska. He lived in Alaska for 10 years, while there he worked for Reeve Aleutian Airways and was the owner of a janitorial company. He was an entrepreneur and involved with various business after leaving Alaska. After living in Alaska for 10 years he lived in Portland Oregon for 2 years and Houston Texas for 5 years before moving to Aurora Colorado. Frank lived in Aurora for 23 years. His wife Carol went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2000. On June 4, 2002, Frank married Peggy June Enzi of Thornton Colorado and lived in Thornton for 12 years, he and Peg moved to Westminster 8 years ago.
Frank was a believer in Jesus Christ and wanted to share Jesus with others. He was a member of Denver First Church of the Nazarene and involved in a variety of ministries. Frank loved teenagers and had a special bond with this age group. He ministered to teenagers for over 35 years.
Frank loved flying and the mountains! He learned to fly in Alaska and had a private pilot license and owned a small plane with his buddies. He liked to hunt, hike, camp, and ski with his family and friends.
Frank is survived by a host of family that includes his devoted wife Peg, loving children, Cynthia (Doug) Comfort, Lisa (Mark) Wentland, Craig Enzi, Lynette Huston, Russ (Serena) Enzi, Lynda (Tim) Sabaska, 24 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Frank’s celebration of life service will be held on Monday September 19, 2022, at The Crossing Church of the Nazarene, 3501 W. 104th Ave Westminster, Colorado 80031, with a viewing at 10:00 am, service at 10:30 followed by a lunch reception at the church, and gravesite service at Fairmount Cemetery, 403 S. Quebec St. Denver, Colorado 80247.
