Howard Harold Motoyama

Howard was born on June 9th, 1924, one of ten children of Nihei and Sode Motoyama. As a trained and educated jeweler and watch maker, he opened a watch repair business and later opened a jewelry store with his wife June. They both retired in 1990.

As an avid sports fan, Howard participated in some sports in his earlier years and actively attended and watched games of his favorite teams. After retirement, he and June could be found on a golf course or at a bowling alley, two sports they enjoyed.

Howard is survived by June Motoyama, his wife of 67 years, son Loren, granddaughter Morgan Meason (Robert), great granddaughter Phoebe Meason, a sister-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and five brothers.

Services will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery located at 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, CO. Visitation will be held from 11:00am-Noon. Graveside service will be held at Noon. A reception will follow at the Panda Buffet located at, 8460 Federal Boulevard, Westminster, CO.
