He then moved to Colorado to attend college and married Lois in 1956. Howard managed the Denver Dry Tea Room and several commercial food services operations before developing a mystery shopping company he owned/operated for 30 years with his good friend, Jerry Goodwin.
Howard is lovingly remembered as kind and generous. He viewed life with a glass half full, an eternal optimist. He enjoyed fishing at Crow Duck Lake in Manitoba Canada and Denver sports. He was grateful he was able to be at home in his later years and care for Lois. He loved and enjoyed his grandson, enjoyed poker/cards/cribbage and always had a good story to tell.
