84, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2015 in Denver, Colorado. Jim is survived by his loving family; his wife of 57 years, Lois Bain, sons, Rick (Marguerite) Bain, Mike (Theresa) Bain, daughter, Debbie (Bob) Boatman, daughter Sandy Murphy, grandchildren; Jeremy (Laura) Bain, Angie (Mike) Ziegler, Derrick Boatman, Alan Bain, Danielle Boatman, and Jamie Boatman, also 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one great grandson, Austin Henry, parents, Victor and Mildred Bain, six siblings, Earl Bain, Wilda Stevenson, Betty Renfro, Roger Bain, Mary Sims, and Kathleen Bain.
Visitation Tuesday, October 6, 2015, 4 to 7pm at Olinger Highland Mortuary. Services Wednesday, October 7, 2015, 2:30pm, in the chapel at Olinger Highland Mortuary. He will be laid to rest at Olinger Highland Cemetery in Thornton, Colorado with military honors provided by the United States Navy.
