Jesusita Virginia Maestas, age 91, of Thornton, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2021. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and friend to all that knew and loved her. Jesusita Virginia was born June 30, 1930 in Trinidad, Colorado to Charles & Dora Armandirez.
Jesusita Virginia is survived by her children, JoAnn Martinez of Winter Springs, FL and Stephen Maestas of Thornton, CO; her sister Lillian and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Maestas.
A visitation for Jesusita Virginia will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a rosary service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. A funeral mass will then follow at 12:30 PM, all at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 9371 Wigham St., Thornton, CO 80229. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.
