You have my deepest sympathy on the immeasurable loss you have suffered, but take courage, it is only momentary. The greatest parent in the universe promises at Hosea 13:14 that he will recover our loved ones from death and he will redeem them from the grave.  What a wonderful blessing awaits you in the near future when pain, sickness, and death will never harm your family again.

My sincerest condolences to your family as you continue to grieve over this tragic loss of your beautiful daughter, Jillian.  The first year is the most difficult.  Be comforted in knowing that others continue to pray in your behalf. I hope you find the words at 1 Thessalonians 4:14 comforting as well.

JilliBean- life will never get easier knowing you and I will never talk on the phone, or take turns hopping planes to visit each other. You never get used to the pain of losing a loved one, you only learn to live with the pain. And you are by far the most difficult pain I am faced with learning to live with. And I don't want to do it. I love you so much, but you know that. The only comfort I can take is that you knew exactly how much you meant to me, how much your friendship meant, and how special you were to me up until the very end, and even after. I love you! I was saddened to hear that your daughter passed away.  Although I did not know her I want you to know that I was moved by her obituary because of the love I felt from the words that hit my heart. It is obvious that Jillian was a daughter, partner & mother that you were all very proud of & I hope the wonderful memories of her will bring you comfort in the days and months ahead.  Those we hold closest to our hearts never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they have shared and the love they brought into our lives.
