On November 16, 1989, Jon Uriah Esquibel was born to Jon Staley and Tanette Esquibel in Denver, Colorado. Growing up in Thornton, Colorado, Jon is the oldest grandchild of Sonny and Rose Esquibel. Being the oldest, Jon kept his cousins and siblings in line by teasing and joking. Growing up, Jon was a member of Royal Rangers. Jon loved anything in life that gave him a thrill. In 2000, Jon graduated from Global Leadership Academy. In 2009, Jon married his high school sweetheart Sandra Coilmore. Jon will always be remembered for his five greatest accomplishments, his children: Aiden, Marques, Jayde, Frankie and Giovanni.

Jon was jack of all trades. He worked for Aramark, Denver Health, and Geman Specialty Foods. There, he met friends like Josephine Avila, Jovan Joseph, and Gary Harward. Jon was a big brother to all. Clowning and teasing was second nature for him. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family, barbequing and making smores with his children. Everyone he met loved his playful, quirky personality.

Jon leaves behind his mother Tanette (Amber Jones-Esquibel) Esquibel of Lake Andes, SD, his father Jon (Rita) Staley of Commerce City, CO, his wife Sandra Esquibel and his children Marques Gilmore, Aiden Serna, Jayde Esquibel, Giovanni Gilmore, and Frankie Gilmore, his grandmothers Rose Esquibel, and Pimpa Mills, his two sisters and six brothers: Jovan, Jeremiah, JJ, Jason, Jacob, Jonezy, Jordan, and Reina. I’m so sorry for your loss. I think I would consider Jon as my very first best friend, in my earlier years we became inseparable for awhile. I look back and am overwhelmed with soo may first time experiences and adventures that happened with what felt like my brother. He introduced me to the girl who would be my very first kiss. He was there the first time I got to “go out” by myself. My heart goes out to Esquibel family! I wish I could of made it to the service.
I miss big homie! May you Rest In Peace.

I Miss you today
I'll Miss you tomorrow
Tears in my eyes,
A heart full of sorrow.
I'll hold on to the memories of the time that we had.
I grieve for what I lost,
But am grateful for what I had.
