Judy was born on February 24, 1944 to parents Gladys and Jay Leach in Jerseyville, Illinois. She was one of 8 children. During Judy’s youth they moved around as her father, Jay was a migrant worker. They finally settled down In Brighton, Colorado in about 1958. This is when Judy met her Neighbor Seferino “Jeff” Lozano.
Seferino and Judy then started a love that spanned 58 years. They started dating when they were 16 and 17 years old, in February of 1961 they were married. Judy and Jeff welcomed 3 children together. Together Jeff and Judy enjoyed traveling and camping, and Judy enjoyed working in her garden. Judy absolutely loved Christmas and the Holiday Season.
Judy is survived by her Son, Tony Lozano, his wife Nancy Lozano and their daughter Andrea Lozano; her Son Rick Lozano, his wife Tammy Lozano, and their daughter Ashile Lozano; her daughter Cheryel Nolasco, her husband Donny Nolasco and her daughter Bernadette Nolasco; Judy’s beloved dog Herk; and her siblings Donny, Sandy and Jimmy.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband Seferino “Jeff” Lozano, parents Gladys and Jay Leach, and siblings Marian, Kathy, Richard and Jay.
Services will be Held Friday, November 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary and interred next to her husband Jeff at 11:00 AM at Olinger highland Cemetery.
