

Julio Jurado Sanchez, 71, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, after a battle with kidney failure. He was born on November 1, 1953, in San Nicolás Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico, to the late Eva and Maximo Sanchez.
On July 19, 1980, Julio married the love of his life, Esther Ramirez. They shared 21 beautiful years together before Esther passed away on September 2, 2001, after her courageous battle with cancer.
Julio was a proud father of five children: Julio Martin Sanchez, Julio Eugene Sanchez, Crystal Esther Sanchez, Jeremiah Joel Sanchez, and Joshua Daniel Sanchez. He was also a devoted grandfather to twelve grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Esther, his parents, Eva and Maximo Sanchez, and his brothers, Carlos Sanchez and Guillermo Sanchez. He is survived by his five children, twelve grandchildren, his siblings Enrique Sanchez, Jesus "Poncho" Sanchez and Elena Sanchez, and many extended family members and friends.
Julio had a passion for the outdoors, often spending time fishing and camping with his family. He also had a deep appreciation for good food and treasured every moment gathered around the table with his loved ones. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and husband whose kindness, warmth, and devotion to family left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St., Thornton, CO 80229. The funeral service will follow immediately at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will take place after the service. The burial will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Olinger Highland Cemetery.
His legacy of love, strength, and family devotion will live on through the many lives he touched. He will be greatly missed."
