Laura Marie Stewart

Laura graduated from Fort Lupton High School in 1967 and was active in 4-H and the school choir. After graduation she worked at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal until she met the love of her life, Russell Stewart, in the summer of 1970. They married on September 19, 1970, and were blessed with two children, Rusty and Renee.

Laura was active with the family business, Consolidated Hardwoods, for many years. Laura enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and softball. She was a member of FOE Eagles 3940 since 1987 where she volunteered her time. Laura was die-hard Bronco Fan.

Laura is survived by her husband, Russ; her son, Russell Jr. (Rusty) and daughter, Renee (Troy). Her grandchildren included Sydnee, Danika, LeAnn and Quinton. She had four great grandchildren, Elijah; Emmanuel, Isaiah and Amaya.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Wid, Opal and her younger sister, Janelle.

A Celebration of Life for Laura will be held 12:30pm, Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229, followed by a reception at the Eagles at 7650 W. 120th Avenue, Broomfield, CO.
