R I P Mr Grant you were always great in my eyes..we lived across the alley on elm street, that's how far we go back love and prayers for the family..

I will truly miss my dad in law.  I'll always remember going to visit him and when he saw me walk in the room he would always say, "Ole Dee!  What you know good?" With a big smile.  He would Always ask me how my family was but especially my sister Edie because they would run into each other in the mountains and hang out. He was always concerned about my health and how Mike was treating me. When he was still living at home and we went for a visit,  he would be upstairs in his room and would always come downstairs to give me a hug and sit and talk about anything. I'm told that he didn't do that for everyone just for the people he truly cared for.  Dad could barbeque the best brisket I have ever had in my life! He really enjoyed watching people eat it and brag about how good it was, Lol! Most of all I remember how much he loved his family and how he especially spoiled grandma, Nita, Mike And mom Ernese. He sacrificed so much for so many, and was always happy to do it. For that, he will always have my love, respect,  and gratitude.  I will miss him dearly.   Much love and RIP Big Dad.

Thanks be to God my Uncle Leroy is at peace.

We lived in a time where it took a village to raise a child, and neighbors could discipline the kid next door. Mr. Grant was the dad across the street. I grew up with the Grants, Adams, McGee, Harris, and Smiths. My condolences go out to my extended sisters and brothers. Love you guys and Uncle Leroy was an exceptional man that will be truly missed!

I am truly Sorry to all who loved Uncle Leroy, it is a great loss. May he rest in peace and may all have fun memories.

My deepest sympathy for the lost of your family member! Mike Grant your Dad will always be with you!! I know it hard right now but he is in God's hands therefore he's finally at peace!!

Uncle Leroy left us with a lot of great memories,  and we will miss him tremendously!

I remember Mr.Grant and his wife coming into Safeway Store back in the early70's at that time all of you children where  young, and Earnestine would always have mike, pauline, and jerome with them,  who would have thought that mike would be in my family but thank God for those memories and now there together may they rest in peace amen Geraldine Nashkennedy and family

My heart is filled with joy and compassion to have known such a man. My Uncle Leroy will be truly missed by me and a plethora of people. May his soul rest in peace.

The life lessons you taught me are PRICELESS!! You were one of a kind. You were committed to your family. You loved unconditional. You took care of business, sense of humor,  integral, passion for life and one of kind work ethic. I learned so much. I thank God for you and will miss you tremendously!
