Melvin Daniels Jr.

Mel Daniels Jr., (Mule) 66, of Arvada, CO, went home to be with his Lord on March 25, 2011 after a three year battle with cancer. He was born September 21, 1944 in Lubbock, Texas. He founded and was President/CEO of Office Technology Systems, Inc. He was a member of Calvary Chapel Broomfield. He loved playing golf and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Lisa Daniels; two sons Anthony and Derrick Daniels; three daughters, Wendy Daniels, Rachel Daniels-Kanack (John), & Rebecca Galloway (Rod) all of Aurora, CO; two step-daughters, Emily & Kayla Johnston of Beebe, AR; three grandsons, Tyler Kanack, Kaleb & Monty Galloway; two granddaughters, Ashleigh Kanack & Sadee Galloway of Aurora, CO; ex-wife and mother of his children Kate Daniels of Aurora, CO; two brothers, Alvin Daniels of San Antonio, TX & Toll Wesley Daniels of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters, Cathrine Clifton of Houston, TX, Linda Simms of Dallas, TX and many nieces, nephews, & cousins (who knew him as Uncle Junior) and a host of wonderful friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests for donations to be made to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, 1317 King Street, Alexandria , VA 22314; or Calvary Chapel Broomfield, 1200 Miramonte Street, Broomfield, CO 80020, where Mel loved to learn and serve his Lord and Savior with his fellow Christian brothers and sisters.
