Millie was born on December 20, 1923 in Pratt Kansas, the daughter of Floyd Clark and Mary Smith Clark. On November 1, 1942 Millie was married to Paul L. Hammond.
Mrs. Millie Hammond was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. After many years of working for Safeway, she retired and became a homemaker and care giver. She loved cooking and gardening.
Mrs. Millie Hammond is survived by four sons; Dennis (Ruby) Hammond, Dwayne (Barbara) Hammond, Rick (Le) Hammond and Randy (Barbara) Hammond, also two brothers, Milford Clark of Wyoming, Marion Clark of Denver, Colorado and one sister Charlotte (Howard) Solley of Garden City, Kansas and sister-in-law Ginger Clark of Protection, Kansas, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Paul Hammond and son Roger Hammond, four brothers, Wayne, Bill, Gloyd, and Richard Clark, one sister, Annie O’Brien.
